Things you will need:
(1) Door / Window Sensor

Tools you will need:
Ladder
Small Flathead Screwdriver
Power Screw Driver for wood installation

Additional Items needed:
Magnetic reed switches for multiple door or window installation.

We have a new unbox and install "How To" instructional video, showing the Ecolink Door Window Sensor.

This new "How To" instructional video shows what is included with the sensor, how it works and how to install it.
There is also an installation example of how to attach external standard switches to this sensor to the Z-Wave switch to save you a lot of money. So say you have a window with multiple panes that go up and down or a couple of windows that are set next to each other in one room. You might think you would have to buy a Z-Wave switch for every window. Well you could but that would be a waste of money.
You can get 1 of these Z-Wave switches and attach 4 inexpensive magnet reed switches to it and any window that is switched with the reed switches will trigger the Z-Wave switch.

If you like it, please visit our How To section to view more. You can also subscribe to our channel to get the latest.
